About Us

Naranja Sahakari Sakkare Karkhane Niyamit stands as a testament to cooperative excellence in Karnataka. Registered under the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act 1959 on April 27, 1982, our journey from a dormant project to a thriving enterprise reflects the power of visionary leadership and farmer unity.

After 18 years of challenges, Dr. Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli’s dynamic stewardship in 2000 transformed our destiny. Today, we operate a 2500 TCD eco-friendly sugar plant with an 8 MW co-generation unit, producing premium white crystal sugar while generating renewable energy. Our 60 KLPD distillery adds value to every ton of sugarcane processed.

We’ve created over 600 direct jobs for rural individuals while providing sustainable livelihoods for thousands of cane growers across Bidar district. As a proud recipient of The Best Technical Efficiency Award 2011 and The Best Sugarcane Development Award 2013 from The South Indian Sugar Cane and Technologist Association, Chennai, we continue setting benchmarks in cooperative sugar production.
